Plot: SON OF RAMBOW is the name of the home movie made by two little boys with a big video camera and even bigger ambitions. Movies about young boys?
I’m looking for movies about boys roughly ages 10-14, that I could relate to, having once been a young boy.
I’m looking for Drama or Comedic Drama films, but don’t let that limit your suggetions too heavily. Just please don’t leave me with something too depressing.
Some that I already love include Billy Elliot, Wild Tigers I Have Known (weird films like this are ok, as are gay themed movies), I’ll Remember April, Son of Rambow, Stand By Me, The Sandlot, Du Er Ikke Alene ( I’d prefer engish language films, but subbed foreign films are alright too.

i bought a total control universal remote control but cant find codes for?
I have a UBX TD 2646 DVD Player and an 27 in Avol t.v. but can not get this universal remote to program them cause can not find the codes anywhere and have searched all over the internet anyone no where to get these codes.

If you look through the instructions that came with the control, you should find a guide telling you what to do if none of the supplied codes work – it’s a fairly laborious process that involves pressing one of the remote control’s buttons as many as 150 times in a row, but will successfully find the code for most devices.

However, like any universal control, Total Control products are not compatible with all equipment and so there is a chance that it won’t work. Good luck!

You should contact the maker of your universal remote and they should be able to supply you the needed codes. Also if no codes are available for some better remotes can learn from the original remote.

Having said that… my suggestion if you want the ultimate universal remote… Take what you have back and get a Logitech Harmony Remote. They have several version at several price ranges but they are the all time best Universal Remotes.

They include things like:
- One button to turn on all devices needed for a given action. So you don’t have to separately turn on the TV and the DVD player and the Sound System. You push the button for watch DVD and it turns everything on and sets everything up with one button push.
- You Program the remote through a USB computer connection and the computer downloads all information to the remote.
- And yes if the computer interface can’t recognize your equipment you can point the old and new remotes at each other press a few buttons and the new remote can learn from the old remote.

I’ve had two of these and only had to replace the first one because I did something foolish with it. But I won’t use another brands Universal Remote ever again.

Price Range I’ve seen versions on sale through places like Tiger Direct for as low as $49.00 and I’ve see the top of the line of what they sell as expensive as something over $500.00 but that one comes as a touch screen thing for major home theaters.

My six month old baby will not sleep!?
he has had the same routine since birth prettymuch, he was going to bed at around 9pm for a while and getting up several times and finally getting up for the day around 8am. He will not go to sleep on his own, and now its to hte poitn where he cant be rocked, he will scream and kick, and now the only way i can get him to fall asleep is if i bounce him. for the past couple weeks he has been refusing to go to bed until about 1am, and getting up at 7am, with one 2 hr nap during the day. we live with our inlaws and they chastise us if we let him cry, im not sure what to do.
weve tried cereal, he eats solids, weve tried a warm bath, soothing music, playing, its just become an all out fight with him!
tried tylenol, oragel, natural teething tablets, his first tooth just came in, but it seems worse now, he wont even take a pacifier anymore.
he weighs about 23 lbs and is 26 inches, hes a little fatty.

First of DO NOT do cereal in a bottle, that can cause your baby to be obese. You can try to feed him a snack closer to bed time. If he is not on a pacifier it may be a thing to try, there are a lot of dentist approved ones now, will give him something to help sooth his stress. My daughter got a thing called a "sleep sheep" and it makes 4 different soothing sounds at a moderate level, she is now 21 months and still uses it… even my friends have borrowed it to help themselves sleep. If it gets really bad and you feel like your child is in a lack of sleep you may try a little bit of tylenol. Also, he could be teething… I used All natural teething tablets, that you can find at wal-mart or toys R us, and since they are all natural you can use as many as he needs as many times throughout the day, all you do is rub it on his gums and it’s fast disolving. It’s going to be a bit of a guessing game for a while! Wish you luck and hope this helps.

4 daughters and here you go…get a book and make it cardboard. simple 5 pages. your mom so your so capable of making it so interesting. and read it to him over and over and over and over. get the picture. it bores you to read that word repetatively and your baby will feel the same. tell your inlaws to shut their mouths unless they want to step up and let you sleep all night. hmmm. depending on his size, he could be going through a growth spurt as well and if your nursing, then you know this. outside air EXHAUSTS baby’s!!! good luck mama

If so vibrating teethers work wonders. Lay him down with you. If he gets up, lay him back down and tell him it’s time for sleep. As for your in-laws… it’s unhealthy not to let a child cry, but hey if they’re willing to keep him at night more power to them!

What is the next best thing to do beside to neuter and spay dogs, a male and a female? How much otherwise?
There is a male and a female dog in my house. One belongs to my daughter, another came to my door by itself 6 months ago. I can not picture puppies from them but they are in heat now. I am looking for solutions. Please help.

Since you won’t spay and neuter, you’re going to have a problem. The male is going to start marking territory in your house, he’ll whine and bark and howl (so will the female when she’s ready to be bred). You have to keep them totally separated so they can’t even see each other for the whole 3 weeks. Just be prepared for a stressful time.

If you don’t want puppies, pay the money and have them fixed. Some people have given hormone shots to female cats and dogs (depo provera) but that requires keeping on schedule and can have effects on the personality of the animal. In the long run paying for surgery will be cheaper than dealing with puppies and/or more complicated alternatives.

KEEP THEM SEPRATED dogs don’t pollinate by air ya know. Perferadly two barriers between them to advoid accidents (especally with children in the house). At one point in my life I had an intact female & an intact male & a ditsy housemate relative who could be counted on to put the two togher, the female had a padlock on her crate door while she was in heat so only I could let her out. It’s lots eaisier to spay /neuter but in the meanwhile….

Ps antimating sprays & doggie dipers are not proof alone (it sometimess tought to keep them on the female) SOLID barriers are needed.

if you don’t want to ‘fix’ them right now, you can buy doggie diapers at the pet store. I think that oudda do it. The pet store might even have something even fancier for the male dog to wear, but I’d get the diapers.

There really is no next best thing to spay or neuter. In about all communities in the USA there are low cost spay and neuter clinic’s available to you. Please do that, there are far too many unwanted puppies born. There are far more put down than have happy homes. Your dog will also have a healthier, happier, longer life if she isn’t constantly having puppies and the boy dog will live longer not running the road’s finding that female in heat or .getting lost forever or being hit by a auto. Please be a responsible pet owner and get your doggies spated and neutered. Good luck.

unless you are a professional breeder, there is no "next best thing" besides getting your dogs spayed and neutered. it gives them a longer, healthier life on top of many other benefits such as having litters and litters of unwanted puppies.

there are low cost spay and neuter clinics in most towns .. check with your local humane society. the cost would probably range from about $30 for the female and $15 for the male but i’m sure it varies from state to state. that is the most responsible and loving thing you can do for them.

If you are keeping the male dog, the best thing to do with him is neuter him. It’s cheaper than the female, and you will have a much better family dog who won’t run. For now, seperate them by one outside (male) and one inside, otherwise you will have a mean male on your hands. Good Luck.

Defineately alter them.Other than that keep them seperated until you can get to the vet.
Make sure they get plenty of exercise.
Put your male in the car and take him somewhere he can RUN to burn off all his excess energy.Wear him out and he’ll go hoome and sleep rather than try to mate.Not that he still won’t try if the opportunity presents itself.
