What does it mean when people hang empty glass bottles in a tree?
I've seen this in two movies now, "Because of Winn Dixie" and "The Princess and the Frog." I have a feeling it is probably something like a superstition in the South. However, I'm not sure, and I'm extremely curious. So, does anyone know? =]

The bottle tree was started in the deep south, mostly carried out by African Americans. Not sure what it meant to them but think it was a method of decorating a piece of their yard. Its still done in some locations, but not with the same meaning. Done more for nostalgia

Samsung t819 turns off when paired with a Garmin Nuvi w/bluetooth?
I have a Samsung t819 phone and I recently bought a Garmin Nuvi 780 that has blue-tooth capability. The two paired without a hitch and I made a call with the blue-tooth once but now anytime they pair the phone will immediately restart itself and will not stay on for more than a few seconds at a time. I got a replacement t819 under warranty and it's doing the same thing as the old phone. I don't know if its a problem with this particular model of phone or if its a problem with the Garmin but I would really appreciate some help!

I think russell put it best in his opening statement. he outplayed and outwitted everyone to the extent that nobody else has ever done. Russell played the game how it is suppose to be. play for yourself, backstab, do anything and everything to win. You play to win the game, you don't play the way natalie or mick played. it may get you the million dollars as it did in natalies case, but Russ was by far the most deserving person to win this year, and arguably is the greatest player of all time. i can't believe the idiots on the jury. They were jealous that russell weaved his way through the entire game in a way they never could have.
i also find it funny that russell, from the beginning said what he was going to do to win the game, and he did it to absolute perfection. the jury screwed him. such bs.

I read it, I agree that No one can be theocratic and part of any human government that does not adhere to Jesus words.
