Plot: On the day that Hurricane Katrina hits New Orleans, elderly Daisy Williams nee Fuller is on her deathbed in a New Orleans hospital. At her side is her adult daughter, Caroline. Daisy asks Caroline to read to her aloud the diary of Daisy’s lifelong friend, Benjamin Button. Benjamin’s diary recounts his entire extraordinary life, the primary unusual aspect of which was his aging backwards, being born an old man who was diagnosed with several aged diseases at birth and thus given little chance of survival, but who does survive and gets younger with time. Abandoned by his biological father, Thomas Button, after Benjamin’s biological mother died in childbirth, Benjamin was raised by Queenie, a black woman and caregiver at a seniors home. Daisy’s grandmother was a resident at that home, which is where she first met Benjamin. Although separated through the years, Daisy and Benjamin remain in contact throughout their lives, reconnecting in their forties when in age they finally match up. Some of the revelations in Benjamin’s diary are difficult for Caroline to read, especially as it relates to the time past this reconnection between Benjamin and Daisy, when Daisy gets older and Benjamin grows younger into his childhood years.

I have a dream that one day the only thears that exist are tears of laughter and joy and tears of sadness and fear are forgotten forever. I hae a dream that one day we will live ina world where doing the right thing is as easy as breathing. I have a dream that one day no one will ever think of breaking a promise or betraying someones trust. I have a dream that one day words will be used only to help and heal and nver to destroy or inflict pain. I have a dream that one day everyone wil be content with who they are adn that one day everyone will be able to pursue their dreams with no one standing in their way. Just reading those glorious words brings back the memory of That Day. Yes, I was one of the lucky ones, in the crowd of 250,000 that blazing hot August day around the Reflecting Pool on the Mall in Washington DC. It was one of the great moments of my life to hear those ringing words from Dr. King. My eyes are filling with tears as I recall those memories and those words…

If anyone thinks your essay is lame or pathetic, you can only pity them for what they don’t understand. It is clear that YOU understand it. God bless you and your beautiful dream.

Top Five Favorite Anime and why? Favorite quotes?
First of all, my all time favorite anime is Rurouni Kenshin.
The storyline and historical context of Meiji Era Japan, the main character, a traditional hero with a troubled, guilt ridden past who tries very realistically to save those around him, a self-less man who gave himself to everyone trying to help. I admire him, he was very well written.
(Not the Samurai X remake. Bad voice acting).

I love Bleach because it’s very interesting and you can relate to what’s happening, and you love most of the characters (hehe Ichigo, Rukia, Toushirou, Uryu, Rangiku ect… EXCEPT MOMO HINAMORI SHE MUST DIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

I love Katekyo Hitman Reborn because it’s very different and original from other mangas and it’s soooo funny i love it. it’s also serious at the same time and it shows the difference on how Tsunayoshi Sawada (the main character) changed into a better and stonger person!!!! also the plot is interesting and unpredictable which makes it awesome!~ hehe and the characters are awesome too!!!!
