What does brown blood mean?
I was supposed to start my period around the 27th last month but it never came, instead aout the 3rd of this month i started having cramps and then i noticed a little bit of blood, so i continued like i would normally when i start myperiod but i only bled for a short time and then it turned brown after several hours it stopped, then the next day about mid day or so brown showed up again… and then so far nothing else. i was kind of sick to my stomach last night while i was sleeping and i have had severe headaches the last several days, and my stomach feels bloated a bit. I have been retaining a bit of water and i feel rather anxious at times. what do you think? I’m waiting a bit longer before i try a test…

well it could be implantation bleeding, and brown blood means old blood so its hard to say until you take that test!! good luck

If you are concerned about pregnancy then take a test. It is the only way to tell at this stage.

Also, don’t let brown blood scare you. Blood turns brown when it dries. So the blood is -red- but maybe because it was such a little amount it dried fast and it looks brown on you pants.

I did have a short, light period when I first got pregnant. I didn’t know I was pregnant until other symptoms showed up. This happens some times depending on the timing.
