IMDB rating: 6.00 Plot: New rules enforced by the Lady Mayoress mean that sex, weight, height and intelligence need no longer be a factor for joining the Police Force. This opens the floodgates for all and sundry to enter the Police Academy, much to the chagrin of the instructors. Not everyone is there through choice, though. Social misfit Mahoney has been forced to sign up as the only alternative to a jail sentence and it doesn’t take long before he falls foul of the boorish Lieutenant Harris. But before long, Mahoney realises that he is enjoying being a police cadet and decides he wants to stay… while Harris decides he wants Mahoney out! |

Why would my ex-boyfriend ask me to his grad party?
We broke up a year ago because I told him that I was in love with him and he said that he "wasnt there yet". He was in the middle of the police academy and I felt as though our relationship had been put to the wayside. I broke up with him a week later because of it. Then I find out through a mutual friend that he said he could have married me. We randomly hooked up a few times, maybe three times, through out the year but that was it. We didnt talk after the hook ups and I never thought anything would come from them. Then I get an invite to his graduation party via Facebook from the academy today. Its at his parents house and he only invited 30 people or so. Why would he invite me? We dont talk, ever. Is this his way of trying to get back into my life or am I over analyzing this situation? I just cant understand why he would invite me.
