Just get a PS3, its pretty cheap now and PSN doesn’t cost money if you wanna play online.
Only reason to buy Xbox is for Halo, Gears of War, mass Effect and Fable 2.

I own an xbox 360, and 90% of the time the xbox games look better, but PS3 has more realistic graphics, xbox 360 looks better because it gives more vibrant unrealistic colors.
I would go with the xbox 360 since you can play halo, gears of war, GTA (Lost and the damned, and ballad one)
PS3 has God of War, and kill zone, it might have more but i wouldnt know, i dont own one xD

right now i have xbox 360 elite it just keeps coming out with new games every one of them with great graffics and design even the violence ha ha ha ha ha ha. since you can always buy ps3 you should buy the soon to be rare modern warfare xbox 360 i heard they are gonna stop making them after they sold a certain number of them any ways an anyone who has the money is gettin their hands on one hurry fast you have 24 hours to choose

XBOX 360 modern warfare definatley, you may have to pay a little more the 360 but most of the features are worth it.

Do neither and invest in a computer, it will be more expensive but with PC you have the ability to mod your games, and best of all use steam. Steam is basically X box live but free. Also you get the rest of the computer which means a DVD player, easy internet (if you have it) and much much more. A good gaming computer you could find for about $500, it would run most of the X Box and PS3 games in PC formats. It may seem like to much but hey, look at it as if you would buy the ridiculously expensive PS3, bout the same price last time I heard. Btw a lot of the popular games that are played on PS3 and X Box are out for PC, such as Assassins Creed, Oblivion, Call of Duty, and more. It is the best investment, just make sure you build your own PC if you go through with it. It would need a good Processor and Graphics Card to run at top qualitiy. Still together it is about $300 ish so make sure you don’t buy a computer with a weak one cause you would have to replace it. Anyways sorry dude, PC nerd lol. I highly recommend PC, much more than any of the Consoles. Between PS3 and 360 I would recommend the PS3 because it is more powerful, by what I heard at least…….. Best of luck!!!=)

For the Xbox 360 Console : Around 200 depending on which one you get
With Xbox LIVE Gold Membership : $350
You also have to pay more depending on if you get LIVE or not
Ps3 : 300 since they lowered the price
Ps3 is better in this area.

Secondly, Graphics
Xbox 360 Graphics are better than Ps3 graphics
