The Last Resort (2009)

IMDB rating: 0.00

Plot: Kathleen, a bride to be, and her four bridesmaids Sophia, Jessica, Beth, and Amber travel to Mexico in hopes of having a last “hoorah” before the wedding a few weeks away. After partying hard the night before, Sophia splits from the group to pursue Rob, a hansom young tourist from the states. The other girls decide to take a tour of the countryside without her, but are robbed and left for dead in a remote rugged terrain. As night falls, the tired and injured girls arrive at an abandon resort and decide to take shelter until morning. When they enter, strange things begin to happen, as the girls become overwhelmed by an unspoken evil that possesses the resort. Back in town, Sophia is worried about her friends and works hard to track them down. After realizing they took a scenic tour, Sophia and Rob do the same, in hopes of finding her lost friends. Sophia and Rob finally discover the resort and attempt to help their friends, but an unspeakable evil has taken control of all who travel to The Resort.

Is this some type of malware or what?
I’m extremely stressed out right now, and have been trying to fix this issue for two days straight.

It happened right after I defraged the system, previously have downloaded a few things (Firefox add-on, uTorrents -yay, smart me) but the problem didn’t arise until I was on the internet and it would suddenly freeze up.

I’ve never had this problem before, and could use a lot of applications then I was before. So I’m fairly sure this isn’t an issue on RAM (unless something is completely using it up, malware?)

I tried seeking out Task Manager and trying to find any problems within the processes, but I can’t tell if they are part of the system, or the fake ones, and furthermore, I don’t want to delete something that will just a bigger problem. I’ve tried some virus protection programs, which are turning up empty.

As far as I can tell, I will not be able to reformat the entire thing – which is my last resort, but rapidly approaching. My computer is one of those mini laptops without a disc to bring life back into it and I really don’t know whether installing an external hard drive is going to help.

Please, please, please help me out. If you can pinpoint the problem, please help me find a way to fix it. If it’s a type of malware, please steer me to removal instructions *that work*
I have been downloading them x.x But I’ll try Onecare

Instead of installing antivirus programs, you should use an online one. Installing AFTER the virus is on will not work, since the virus will do something to the program as it installs.

Try Onecare safety scanner. It’s free, and it also removes what it finds, too.
