what is the best part in a Sci Fi movie ever?
I to this day have always loved the day Scotty tried talking to a 1980’s apple computer.

this is from "Star Trek IV: the Voyage Home"

he is trying to show a glass plant owner how to build a new type of glass and sits down in front of a modern computer.

First he says "Computer" no response. "Hello computer" no response.

Bones hands him the mouse and he tries to talk into it. No response.

then is told to use the keyboard and he calls it "How quaint"

always thought that was probably the funniest part in a movie.

Star Trek "The Q and the Grey"
Q tries to unsuccessfully seduce Janeway..rofl.

And of course "Amok Time"…Spock loses it…^_^ cute little Spock…ahem

How about the part in "Terminator 2" where the completely naked T-800 walks up to one of the biggest, meanest bikers in that bar and calmly tells him; "I need your clothes, your boots, and your motorcycle!!"
I thought that part was pretty funny…
I agree with you though…I really liked Star Trek IV also…

in Blade Runner, Deckard doesn’t want to be recognized: "you got the wrong guy, pal." He’s again addressed in thick-accented city-speak lingo: "Lo fa, ne-ko shi-ma, de va-ja blade runner." Deckard pretends he doesn’t understand, but the cafe manager interprets: "he say you Blade Runner." — and in one of the most emotionally painful scenes in the film, he brutally and cruelly tells her that her memories are only implants, and that she is just a robot with emotions. Without compassion, he destroys a dream of humanness that she maintains:

Implants! those aren’t your memories, they’re somebody else’s, they’re Tyrell’s niece’s. ok, bad joke. I made a bad joke. You’re not a replicant. Go home, OK? no really, Im sorry. Go home

Yes I love that part! How can you not love IV honestly haha.

One of my favorite parts in a Sci – Fi movie is in Serenity, when Jayne is arguing with Mal about how he was handling things, and Mal says

"You wanna run this ship?!"

"YES!"

"Well…you can’t."
