Looking for a Career as a Mercenary in Iraq or Afghanistan ?
I must say, seeing all you enthusiastic and hopeful non-entities, so eager to join up to the armed forces is a pitiful sight. Even in the knowledge that the conflicts you’ll be engaging in are illegitimate and amoral you continue to scramble for the recruitment office.
Such is the desperation of these benighted generations that a position as a piece of canon fodder looks pretty good from their point of view. One is forced to raise the question that if the prospect of filling a body bag looks so attractive, what manner of lifestyle do these people enjoy?
No doubt grievously offended small minds will exclaim their ‘love of country’ and ’sense of duty’ as the compelling forces that drive them to want to become members of the armed forces, but I don’t for a moment believe this to be the truth. The Allied forces in Iraq and Afghanistan are nothing more than paid assassins for American Imperialism. Front-line terrorists that mow down both insurgent and civilian with equal vigour and determination; after all, you just can’t be sure who’s who in the heat of the moment. I consider only deviant personalities seek the opportunity to be a part of the US led blood bath.
It was a corrupt leadership that took the Allies into the Wars and it is an amoral and mercenary army that continues to follow the despicable chain of command.

Your responses answered eventually.
* lone * – Because evil must always be challenged.
* redleg * – White phosphorus has the same qualities as Napalm, so why don’t you tell that fallacy to the families of those toasted civilians in Fullajah. Those women who were asphyxiated along with babies in arms, death expressions from the molten agony frozen in their carbonised remains.
* blackhawk rob * – Perhaps if you talk to those soldiers who live with the daily fears of I.E.Ds and sniper fire they’ll tell you how much they would like to leave, and similarly if you talk to those Iraqis who have been involved in Allied incursions they will tell you how eager they are to see the Allied forces leave their nation, to sort out its own problems. Don’t allow the ruling class to inculcate their agenda so readily. America isn’t the World’s police force, it is a predatory Imperialist power attempting to secure access to a much sought after massive oil reserve for itself and its allies in the coming period of fuel depletion. Everything else is mere propaganda.
* E * – It isn’t me that will seek to delete any of the contents from this post but inevitably that clique of conservative Americans which patrol this site 24/7, proving to everyone that democratic free speech is their sworn enemy.
You complain about the lack of ‘grey thinking’ or ‘positive notes’ on this issue of U.S invasion, as if such would lend authenticity to a perspective. Well I make no apologies for presenting a bleak and perspicuous insight into reality. Its time for Americans to wake up to their criminal countenance in the World and I’ll make no bones about highlighting these matters.
The tenor of my Post is a criticism of the amoral personal nature of those would be recruits and the existing armed forces that deliver the whimsical devastations of the International Capitalist ruling class elite without a single hesitation refusal or expression of remorse, so for you to complain about its ad hominem aspect is simply foolish. You also complain about the one-sidedness of my contribution yet this is (or should be) a forum of discussion and debate so the other side undoubtedly, as I said in the first instance ( "No doubt grievously offended small minds will..") comes in the rejoinders of those disagreeing with me. Unless of course you would prefer I put on a one-man Punch and Judy style display?
Further, I don’t for a moment believe there can be a ‘magnification’ of the trauma wars cause on every strata of a society, nor can one minimise its criminality, yet you ‘E’ have nothing to add on the moral issues, merely relegating yourself to the role of the unsympathetic apologist for American atrocities.
* William M * – There will be a great many more ruined lives, deformities and deaths in Iraq and Afghanistan due to the effects of the toxicities from America’s Depleted Uranium ordnance, White Phosphorus and who knows what else this nation have released into the civilian population there. http://www.csmonitor.com/2003/0515/p01s0 2-woiq.html (Children of Iraq play where Geiger-counter registers 1000 times greater than normal). http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PFqyK8kB1 Vk (short documentary film on the ‘D.U Babies’):
You claim not to have seen an 8 year old killed by America, yet most of that figure of 1.3 million are infant deaths, so your eyes must be tightly sealed with patriotic fervour. Further the insurgency was born out of a fight-back against U.S invasion, so that 8 year old victim of insurgency would be alive if not for this Imperialist Oil war.
If the US is so evil, killers, dangerous, merciless, etc. then why the f*ck are you trying to push our buttons with this question?

Not everyone that joins the military does so with hopes of "filling body bags". Doing good may not be the top priority in Washington, however you talk to most Soldiers who have been overseas and they will tell you that Iraqi civilians want us there. They want the same freedoms as we hold, freedoms that allow people like you, to complain about things on websites such as this. We are assisting them in attempting to live normal lives, without fear that casting votes and voicing opinions will get them killed. Voting in this past election in Iraq was a 20% higher turnout than that of America in the 2010 elections. That tells me that this country takes the simple freedom for granted, and the Iraqi people are trying to move forward to better days. The overall mission is to free the people and help them to lead normal lives without fear. The world will never be free of terrorism, but trying to decrease the level while helping out other nations and building relationships in the middle east remains top priority.

No matter what we say, we cannot change your mind. You are entrenched in your belief system, and as a result will undoubtedly delete any data that conflicts with said belief system, regardless of veracity.
A man convinved against his will, is of the same opinion still.
No matter how thin you slice it, there are always two sides. -Espinoza
Several forms of distorted thinking that plague all mankind found in this post:
1)All-or-nothing thinking – the inability to find nuances (no gray areas), categorizing all into a black or white
ex."The Allied forces in Iraq and Afghanistan are ((nothing more)) than paid assassins for American Imperialism."
2)Mental Filter – focusing on negative details in a situation and dwelling on it exclusively
ex. THE ENTIRE ARTICLE, of course you cite evidence in favor of your argument, as you should, but we all know there is more than one side to a story (see above quote)
3)Ad hominim – to attack a person rather than an argument
ex. "all you enthusiastic and hopeful non-entities";
4)Disqualifying the positive – the ability to transform positive or even neutral qualities into the negative
5)Magnification/Minimization – blowing things out of proportion, or reducing
ex. "Front-line terrorists that mow down both insurgent and civilian with equal vigour and determination"
6)Jumping to conclusions
ex. "No doubt grievously offended small minds will exclaim their ‘love of country’ and ’sense of duty’"
7)Emotional reasoning – taking emotions as evidence
ex. THE ENTIRE ARTICLE

BLAHAAHHAHA!
Fake and Gay… Troll..
I would point out a important idle for you mass.
If the united states was killing Civilians on Purpose in Iraq.
There would be ALLOT more then 1.3 million deaths.
I mean shit. The Russians Killed about 400k people in Afghanistan and its a sparsely populated area.
The U.S. Has touched no were near that.
And ontop of that you are ignoring some very important points.
MANY of the people killed in Iraq were/are killed by Insurgents.
I saw a 8 year old boy who had been set on FIRE by insurgents.
I never saw a 8 year old boy set on fire by U.S. troops.
The odd war crime is to be expected but never condoned when hundreds of thousands of Troops and moved throw a place.
And you will notice that people have been Punished.
Abugrade ended in jail time / the end of carreres.
The Shootings at the canals ended in Jail-Time and may very well end in Capital punishment.
The rape and murder of a 13 year old girl and her family ended in jail-time and may end in capital punishment.
If this was all condoned then none of these things would have been punished.
Now sense you are clearly a troll and or tin foil hat club member i don’t expect that any of these valid points will be answered.

quit your whinging! What are you trying to achieve apart from showing everyone youre a hippy ass! You know full well that if we werent fighting these wars you wouldnt be able to enjoy your freedom of speech as you appear to be doing now. It is a job, no one i know joined ‘to go to war’ there are so many more oportunities than that, look at the aid work in haiti for example. Also youre making a mockery of those who get injured or worse at war with your ignorance. Everybody knows that these soldiers are following orders, no because they cant think for them selves but because its their job. You dont seem to understand why we are at war in the first place. You clearly think you are far superior to any soldier which you majorly disprove through your pig headed narrow minded ignorance here. I would also add you are believing everything you see on the tv and what you read about, dont for one second think all of that is true, its funny how they dont write about man love thursdays and the amount of heroin over there. I like how these people you call hopeful non-entities look up to real heroes and plan on actively making a difference in this world as opposed to sitting behind their screen whinging.
you said to blackhawk rob to ask a soldier who deals with ieds if they want to leave, my fiance is an eod operator and he loved being on tour until he got injured. he truly loves his job and has saved countless lives.

I have just yawned my way through a few of your previous questions and come to some conclusions.
1. You must be homesick for North Korea.
2.You are a fan of Lenin and Marx.
3.You haven’t got a job, and are living off the state.
4.You have been out of circulation for three months.
5. Your p.c. is the only friend you have.
6. You are prone to ‘writers cramp’.
7. You really must get out more.
