Why do people turn things you say around?
This lady at work always turn what I say around. I work with kindergarteners and first graders (young children) and I told this kindergarten child who wanted to go to the bathroom to take his best friend (after he asked him who he should take) but I tried to say it descretely and I did not say it loud. I was loud inside so nobody should have heard. So this other worker say loudly, "You are making the other children feel bad." But if she was really that worried, and not trying to nail me for anything, I think she would have just whispered, "Maybe you might not want to say that." And one time when a child during lunch asked for another drink in the cafeteria, even though she already braught lunch and there is a water fountain available in the hall anyway, I patiently said it is not really up to me, but that I would have to ask Miss Mary (the cook) if it is okay and the same lady says in a snotty way, "You cannot say no to a kindergarten kid!" I was just not sure if they were allowed, and some parents get mad. And I could understand if she just said, "They always give the kindergarteners extra drinks." But she said it like getting mad. And she seemed annoyed at me for telling a child he cannot have ketchup for some food he brought, but I didn’t think they would give it to me that day because there was no ketchup out that day (I don’t know why the parents just expect it like it is a restuarant, but I understand its not the child’s fault) and the kids were not getting fries. And the child was getting all argumentive, when I tried to politely explain, so I think when I that lady heard me when I got a little more firm, but I was not yelling at the child, I know they are little. But she should have known be by now that I don’t yell at children, she yells at the children! And the new cook is so by the book (not like the old cook) that I don’t just feel welcome to go into the fridge like I own the place, and and she was too busy the whole period to be bothered just for ketchup for a kid who is buying lunch, she was serving kids who actually did buy lunch their food and taking change from kids. Technically it is not her job to be just giving out stuff for anybody who askes. But I didn’t say that, because I am not the by the book type of person.
I meant to say the kid was NOT buying lunch, just the clarify. She was too busy to get ketchup. And I meant they were not having frieds or burgers or anything for lunch, so they were not serving ketchup, just to clarify.
Stupid people that are insecure and have low self-esteem LOVE to stir the pot…
People like this cause trouble just to watch the chaos insure and pretend as if they are "Above it all" and "Morally Superior" or "Smarter" or whatever it is they need to not put a gun in their mouth…
PITY these poor, deluded individuals… For they have NOTHING BETTER going on in their lives than to try and ruin the day of those around them.

politics start in kindergarten. play by the insane rules or hit the road to a nice private school.

1 Unless this lady you speak of is your boss, quietly take her to the side and tell her to leave you the f*ck alone. If you haven’t broken any rules, and if she has no valid reasoning that can help you with your job there, then she is a pain and a cancer that needs to be eradicated from your life.
2 Children are adults who just can’t physically threaten your and don’t know how to communicate yet. I do not envy you for the job you have. I dated a lady who was a first grade teacher and she was insane. Unless you truly love what you can do, get out. That is probably why this lady is yelling at you because she is insane, so consider her a vision of how YOU will be in the future…I guess.
3 Most people, as a rule, will always take what you say and turn it around. This is because most people do not know what you are thinking and will usually guess…and they are always wrong. Most people are too selfish or stupid to ask questions.
Good Luck with this and I would consider point #2 very carefully.
