How To Fix Any Type OF Windows Explorer Problems?
I have searched around the web and here at Yahoo Answer for ways to fix my windows explorer problem. But what I have found is that people with windows explorer not responding have different problems like can’t click on any icons or right at window start up the message pops up.

My Window Explorer not responding is when I go into windows update to see what is new. Only a second to four seconds, the message pops up and all my icons disappears. So I have to do improper shut down to get back in. The last time this happen it was either the third or fourth time. But this time asking normal mode or anyone of the safe mode, and it goes so far. I turn the computer off a 5-6 time, after waiting like 90 seconds to 3 mins. Still it would not go into windows. Then the next night I tryed again and still it did not go into windows, so did a inproper shutdown again. This time the surge protector main button. But the night the problem happened I did use my Gateway laptop’s window vista disc on HP desktop to try and fix the problem. All I did was choose start up repair. I don’t know did it help at all. Back to the second night, after turning off the surge protector for like 5-7 mins, I said to myself turn it back on and see is the computer still not shut down since I did not shut the computer’s main power. This time after waiting a bit, it went into windows. But I know the problem is still there and this could happen again.

So what is a safe way to fix the problem, and does microsoft have anything to download on their site to fix the problem that is safe.

Boot from the Vista disk again. Chose to install Windows on the first screen. Choose repair on the SECOND screen with the repair option. (It’ll look as if you’re reinstalling Windows, but all it will do is repair your Windows files.) If that doesn’t fix it, you have other problems.

I’ve said this before.
For some strange reason known only to themselves Microsoft cant or does not WANT to fix it up.
I had the exact same problem, starting and stopping and not working and freezing..
The only way I could escape it’s evil insipid clutches was to give Firefox a go and I’ve never looked back. I tried writing to Microsoft, they don’t answer simply because they couldn’t care less about a few lousy customers like you and me.. Years back in the 90’s they had the game sewn up, so they couldn’t have cared less about a bad explorer, or you, and as I said it seems they still don’t.
These days they’re are a few more Browsers around to annoy them, and they still couldn’t care less. Try Firefox or another Browser of your choice. I don’t think you will be sorry.

Why do i become so attached to characters in movies?
It seems like there is always a movie where i become so attached to the character that i get really sad when the movie ends. take Jim from treasure planet… i am like in love with him. is it because i can relate to the character? or the character reminds me of myself?

Most likely they are someone you can relate to or can compare to someone in your life. For example Jim reminds you or yourself, or your father, or your friend. On the other hand you might just share the same values as Jim and connect to him in that matter. Finally you might be a compassionate person who sympathizes with others.

Need Information on the Warcraft3 Custom Map "Real Life [for morons]"? #2?
my little brother is infatuated with this map and he says he will only play with me on b.net if i play with him on this map. it gets VERY boring and i would like to know some stuff to get ahead of him. He always kills me and gets all the stuff. what are some things and strategies to do to do well.

Here are the rules we play by:

1. Nobody can own the farm
2. Absolutely No Bug abuse (if you find a bug that i dont list tell me cause i might be able to slip it in or make an exception with him)
3. If you have a problem try to work it out (just dont quit or kill someone)
4. If you cannot work it out kill them but you have to tell them that you are going to unally them
5. If you kill someone they have to give you thier items and or sell you thier property.
6.No sherrif’s badge
7. Limit 1 bodyguard/ex marine, 1 damage pet, 1 alien
8. we play with 3 people and on clover day the most you can get is 3 and you cannot get 3 if someone has gotten 3 already that day.
9. no robbing the bank in any way.
10. you start teenager and cannot grow up till lvl 10.
11. we increases the max level to past 20 and added tomes +1 for 1k gold

Poor friend constantly guilts me into financially helping her and her felony boyfriend. What to do?!?
I just don’t know what to do about this friend of mine, anymore. She started dating someone 8 years older than her (she 21, him 29). After about a month of knowing him, they got an apartment together just because they both were living at home with their parents and "needed to get out." Even though I advised her to save up money first since she has several dozens of times failed her drivers test and he and his entire family has multiple drunk driving and other felonies. So I tried to help her save money and get them get a cheap place. Well against my judgment they got a one bedroom place in a drug dealer apartment that was more expensive than my 3 bedroom townhome in a nice neighborhood. She used to text me twice a week saying she was lying on the bathroom floor crying herself to sleep because of things he did to her. She stopped texting me those things after I told her she should move back home and take a break from him. He recently got another drunk driving charge and got jail time, where he showed up intoxicated and late. She said it was her fault because she told him not to go out drunk, and he did. So while he was in jail she guilted me into driving her to work and such. She would say she had coupons to restaurants and was lonely so we went out. But instead of splitting the bill she would count hers as the "free" entree and I would pay for the bill. Which is fine because she doesn’t have money and I have a steady job. But then she got two jobs. But then quit the other job because the bf was yelling that she was never home to clean and cook for him. So she was down to working about 2 days a week at a fast food place. She’s never had a job for more than 6 months. (it gets worse but you get the jist of it)

So she most recently has been asking me to take her to view apartments for them two because I convinced her to find a cheaper place (He’s been driving with a suspended license, but he is always fighting with her so he wont take her to look). But she keeps texting me these things saying she’s applying for foodstamps and she doesn’t have any money and I should feel bad for her boyfriend because he got fired. A few minutes ago she texted she had a giftcard to a restaurant (expensive place) and asked me if I wanted to go. Last time I went there with someone it was the cheapest meals and I got water and it was $30 for two people. She wants all three of us to go and I’m sure both will have beers and get appetizers and such, then make me pay because I’m a guilt ridden push over. I just don’t know how to say no. I can’t just leave her because this guy is a scum bag and I’m the only person who still talks to her. But I don’t want to go poor and get stressed out helping her live with a drunken asshole with multiple felonies. I’m trying to save for a house and friends have scammed money out of me my entire life.

So what should I do? I can’t find the strength to say no, but she’s driving me crazy. I have my own problems. I don’t know if I should just cut off contact with her, or keep trying to help her. I truly don’t know what to do. I’ve done everything I can for the past 6 months. What do you think?

I think you should tell her what you said "I have my own problems." Obviously in a nicer way but still. She isnt being a "friend" to you at all. She probably wants your advice and help all the time because you have the perfect life. You have a boyfriend who has never had the police called on him like she does, your boyfriend takes care of you and pays for you and hers is a loser that wont pay for anything and is mean to her. It must be a really sad life for her, only having one friend. I think she is psycho and kind of a loser to only have one friend, she does it to herself. She is obviously a really really bad person to write stuff about someone who had unfortunate occurrences happen to them, yet pretend she cares about them when you say fine, don’t be with them anymore.

(Nerdy Guys Answer:) Does the Semi-Nerdy Guy Like Me Back?
I really, really like this nerdy guy at my school. He’s sweet, funny, intelligent, and socially awkward in a very cute way. We hang out quite a lot at school, and I recently found out his house is on my block! We went on a walk together once and it was the best twenty minutes of my life so far. I met him because I started hanging out with the nerdy group at my school, and they play a card game called Magic: The Gathering. He taught me how to play and we had a two second conversation about how the colors of the cards you use affect gameplay. I mentioned that red sounded like a color I might like. For Christmas, about 2 months later, he hands me a red deck and says Merry Christmas! I was astounded that he actually remembered! We talk all the time on Google chat, and he tells me jokes and says the sweetest things. He sings, (and I think this is the cutest thing ever!) and he’s a very good actor. I recently asked him to the Valentine’s Formal Dance, and he accepted by nodding, blushing, and shaking my hand. Later on in the week he told me he wondered if it actually happened, and when I recounted it, he apologized for the "curt and rude response" and drafted an acceptance that was both lovely and flattering. "[He] would be honored to accompany me to the dance." Often when we talk, he can’t look me in the eyes for too long, and I love that because he blushes just a bit. When he looks at me and we’re talking, he does this smoldering thing with his eyes that makes my mind go blank. I can’t help but wonder if he likes me, or if I am just out in the cold, or even how to ask if he does! Someone, please help. I can’t stop thinking about him!
I forgot to mention: Some of his classes are right next door to mine. Once when we had a fire drill, it was snowing and I didn’t have my jacket. I was talking to him and he asked me if I was cold. I told him that I was and he pulls off his outershirt and gives it to me to wear for the remainder of the classtime. I can never get him alone for long enough to tell him I like him, and even when I do, I chicken out. Also one of my best friends likes him (but he’s told me/her he doesn’t like her back), and she’s always hanging out with us so I never get to flirt. This is why I need SERIOUS help.

can i get some help about windows movie maker?
heyy everyone, i make videos for youtube (AMVs) using clips from disney moves like bolt, fox and the hound ect… i make the video and all.. while im playing it it decides to freeze all of a sudden and you have to press play again for it to continue, some videos stop mabey 2 or 3 times!!! :O only the videos that do this will not save, all others save successfully. what is this problem? why is it happening? is there a way to fix it? please help me… all answers will be appreciated.

I have the same problem when i use large files. Try clip out n delete the unwanted parts instead of just shrinking it. If this still doesn’t work, try split the file to perhaps 2 WMM files (or more if this still doesn’t work) by roughly estimating half the time-line. Save each of the file as a movie. Thereafter if you wish, you could combine these two separate movies into the the final WMM file and add transitions to continue with the flow. Its a task alright!

What's the difference between being a non-conscious being and being nonexistent?
Babies cannot control their actions or even know what they’re doing since they are said to not be "conscious." Now, my question is, what does it feel like to NOT be conscious? I don’t remember anything that happened when I was a baby, I was just like a robot, doing things out of instinct, but I can’t tell the difference between the time before existence and the time when I was a baby, since I couldn’t "consciously" experience any of them. It’s like "myself" didn’t exist until I gained consciousness. What’s the difference between being non-conscious, as a baby is, and being nonexistent, doesn’t it feel the same?

Also, using this logic, you could argue that all animals are non-conscious, which means it’s like they don’t exist, they’re just like what I was when I was a baby. They die and they never even know that they were alive, just like a baby doesn’t know it’s alive either. What do you think?

Non-conscious just means you don’t realize you exist, even if you do. I agree that you do not truly gain a sense of self while still a baby, but I don’t think animals can be considered non-conscious. I believe adult animals are just as conscious as grown humans, just on a different (not necessarily lower) level from us

Your babies may not have been conscious but mine certainly were. They were conscious that they were hungry, tired and had dirty nappies. You had strange babies but then from what you wrote, that’s not surprising because if you were like a robot when you were a baby then I can understand why. I should also inform you that my cats are all conscious, non of them are currently sleeping.

Children are neither good or bad. They are created good considering that they are of God, but they make decisions to do good and bad things. They are not responsible for those actions until they are of the age to know that they are choosing. Our society considers that at 16 to 21 depending on who you talk to . God considers those 20 and over responsible.

Remember, Original Sin is not Biblical but a man made concept.

I guess because our brains aren’t developed enough as a baby, so therefor we don’t remember anything until a toddler at least. If you mean non-conscious is the opposite of conscious, then the right word is unconscious. You can be unconscious but still exist. Like when you’re in a coma, knocked out, asleep. You’re still alive, just not aware of anything or able to think at the time. Being non existent is completely different, the only time you’re non existent is either before you’re born or when you die. Because it’s a word implying a state that you are at present.

To be conscious is to be aware (conscious) of your surroundings. So when you are non-conscious you either, 1: not alive, or 2: not aware of your surroundings (unconsciousness). However to be nonexistent is to simply not exist.
