Two nights ago, I awoke to some loud angry cats. I quickly ran outside and I saw two "wild" dogs in the yard but didn’t see any cats. I am guessing the dogs were eating the cat food on my porch and either I or the cats scared them away. I have two fixed outdoor cats. There is a stray who has a kitten who has been living off my food source for a few months. The next day all but one of my cats was no where to be found. I later found the kitten across the street dead. There was no obvious reason for death that I could see. I hope my other cats are okay but I can only guess that they went away due to injury. Any clues on where I should search for them. I have already contacted animal control and my neighbors with no luck.

Those "dogs" you saw were probably coyotes and I hate to say this but probably ate your cats. This is why you should keep cats indoors. You can keep looking but I really doubt you’ll find them. Sorry.

I agree with Cara , if your Cats are alive they will come back, but they could have gotten eaten by coyotes. Get a 22 rifle and terminate the coyotes if you see them. Very sorry about your cats. ) :

I really think that you should keep your cats inside from now on (As soon as you find them) Which I am going to pray that you do find them. You can go to craigslist.com; click on your state and city and go into the section called "Lost&Found" Look there.. if nothing, post an ad. You just have to read around for directions as to how to sign up and make your own account. Also, attaching a picture to the ad you’re posting would help alot. Please do not give up on finding them, animals are precious little bundle of joys

There is only so much one can do when cats are missing. You can put an add in the local paper, you can walk the streets putting up Lost cats signs and calling them by name. The more you let people know you want your cats back the more apt someone might spot them and think of you.
My daughter’s cat was missing for a few weeks She was scheduled to deploy over seas. and she was so upset. About a week before she had to leave the little boy down the street came running up to her with her cat in his arms. Seemed kitty had climbed in the window to his mom’s spare room. The family shut the room off for the summer. They only found the cat because mom had to get something out of there. they saw their extra guest and remember Alyce. So in the end every one was happy. She will be coming back in April, I hope the cat remembers her. Cats are funny about people leaving them/

ok so in english, we have to write 4 scary/halloween poems. i used to be really good at writing poems, but now im not. i showed people this poem and they say its really good, but it feels to me that something is wrong with it. idk what it is, it just doesnt sound right. here it is:

crouched down on the basement floor.
cold, tired, mostly scared, extremely sore.
a single tear of fear runs down my face.
as do many more, at a slightly faster pace.
above, a series of thunderous footsteps are sounded.
coming down the stairs, they are pounded.
standing 10 ft. away, a figure breathes heavily.
suddenly the basement gets even more chilly.
the figure takes a step towards me.
maybe a few more, but thats all i could see.

im not finished with it. also, the couplet with heavily and chilly are slant rhymes and my teacher said thats okay.

Well, slant rhymes bug me in couplets, but that’s a different story.

The single tear running then many more seems a little…I don’t know. If it was one tear, then another, and then it breaks down into streams, it would seem more dramatic, otherwise I wonder why you single out the one tear and group all the others together.

The word "sounded" is a little heavy, and "they are pounded" could be improved. I’d change those two to improve the flow, as those sentences seem to be the weak spot of your work.

10 ft should be changed to a few, or a more vague number, because I know when I’m scared, I’m not calculating their distance so much as I’m looking for my way out.
If you do decide to use it, write it out as feet and not ft, to be sure.

You could try "their breathing gets bolder, suddenly the basement feels ten degrees colder" or something like that.

My other concern is how do you know they take a step toward you, and not know any more, but you know they are 10 feet away?

Is there something blocking your view? How do they not see you? Are you underneath the staircase? Hiding behind boxes?

It’s a good beginning but you may want to include more detail.

I am interested in the casio exilim ex-s10. I like how it is slim, has the easy recording video button, and has the best shot mode. But I am a little bummed out about the fact that it does not have image stabilization. I want to know if there is a camera that is slim and sleek, easy functions, around 250 to 300 dollars, can put the movies on youtube directly from the camera, can record with audio, holds sd sdhc cards, and has image stabilization. This is a question about RTD (Regional Transportation District), the public transportation system in Metro Denver.

I was on the 153 (Chambers Crosstown) Southbound going to Parker. I usually take that to a stop, then take the P (Parker/Denver) bus Southbound to my neighborhood, because the 153 doesn’t travel far enough.

Anyways, I was on the 153 today going North on Parker road to my stop that I catch my bus home at, and I saw the P bus pass us going South. I also saw a bus with a sign that said: MLX Extra Loop going the same way. I looked for this route on the RTD website but no findings. Does anyone know what this route is/where it goes/etc? Thank you!

The MLX extra loop is just an extra bus in case one breaks down or there is a high volume of riders. Like when there are sporting events ect. Also they will put extra loop buses when the light rail breaks down.
